Replacement and Safety Instructions
WARNING (Safety First): Before starting any work, make absolutely sure the power tool is unplugged from the mains. Electrical repairs must be performed with precision to maintain the tool’s double-insulated safety rating.
1. Disassembly
Opening the housing: Use the correct screwdriver (usually Torx or Phillips) to remove the screws from the handle or back cover of the power tool.
Accessing terminals: Carefully separate the housing halves to expose the main on/off switch and the terminal block where the old cord is connected.
Releasing the cord clamp: Unscrew or unclip the protective strain relief/cord clamp holding the cable at the base of the tool.
Disconnecting: Loosen the terminal screws on the switch (or unplug the spade/faston connectors) and pull out the wires of the damaged cord.
2. Installing the New TTI Cable
Preparation: Slide the protective rubber cord boot onto the new 4931624696 cable (if not already pre-assembled).
